@ohmman - Congratulations, and wish you a very short issue list. Very much looking forward to your extended review and impressions/advise to come. I personally will need a cargo option either hitch or tow that will hopefully allow auto-steer for a family trip from DC to Montreal in July, so we'll see which one of us tests that first, although you have an advantage actually having the car and all :).

@ohmman congratulations on the delivery of your x! I'm experiencing geographical envy as I see the WC deliveries... it's a long way to Richmond VA. Have to take delivery in Tysons Corner VA.
Richmond DMV is in the middle of a fight with Tesla about opening a store here in Richmond. Of course all of the good old boys in the traditional dealer network are fighting this tooth and nail and have even offered to become a delivery point..... for a slice of the action. As a person who retired from CarMax I understand a consumer centric model - we came up against these same good old boys all over the country. Too bad the GOB don't understand there is an important consumer voice that should be heard... I'll be at the final hearing on April 25th to show my support for Tesla.

All in all, slightly anticlimactic. I mean, after 2 years of waiting and over 2000 posts on TMC as well as countless hours browsing and reading, anything short of a Dragon capsule would have been anticlimactic. Very happy to have it home and in my possession, though.
I'm sure it will grow on you. Or your wife. Like a fungus (but they have creams for that).

But seriously, congrats on taking delivery! And I do hope the doors start behaving better inside your garage. Have you had any issues outside or is it only in tight (er) spaces that you're getting the flakiness? (BTW, they have creams for that, too).

That white on white looks stunning.

Your issues with the passenger doors: I thought at first you were talking about the front door but the description about center hinge point left me feeling you were talking about the FWD. And you said as you dragged it down it became better aligned?

I would email and call your delivery specialist ... if MyTesla is still saying April, I would have thought you would have one by now. I got my VIN almost exactly a month before delivery (2/29 VIN, 3/31 delivery)

MyTesla isn't showing an estimated delivery date. I was told mid-April by the sales rep that called me to upgrade my 70D to a 90D on March 11th but it didn't update on MyTesla until the 18th. I will send an email, don't have the phone number of my DS

Sorry for my lack of clarity. Yes, it was the passenger falcon wing door. I revisited it this afternoon, and what seemed to have happened after the 3 inch stop is that the X's internal door status was that that door was open even though I had closed it. So trying to open it resulted in an error, and trying to close it.. the same. I read a thread on this forum at one point which talked about using the override function repeatedly until the door was in a good state with the display. So I tried that, and it only took a few iterations. Since then, I haven't been able to reproduce my issue. Doors opened and closed repeatedly without issue.

Fingers crossed that was a one-off.

I've got a very positive attitude on the X so far..
