Model X August Deliveries

Just thought I'd kick this thread off with my X. I got my VIN and delivery date today! 119XX coming on 8/7.

Can we just skip July this year? I live in Phoenix, so I have multiple reasons for that.

I can't figure out how to make a signature, so here's my config and info:

What, no Sub-zero Pkg?! Don't suppose you'll need it in PX.

I've had my VIN since early May and car is not yet in production and will be lucky to have delivery by July 14th per my DS... Clearly Tesla thinks the waiting line is pretty much done!

Ah glad someone finally started one! I guess I'll chime in. P90DL ordered 5-21-2016, confirmed 7 days later. DS said he sees it in the system as entering production first week of August.

P90DL, 22" Onyx, white seats, matte wood, six seat, Ludicrous, Autopilot, PUP, SAS, UHFS, Subzero.

Interesting, I was assigned a VIN (118XX) a couple of days ago, but when I placed my order the Design Studio said July Delivery. While my DS hasn't given any real idea of when I should expect delivery, the fact that 119XX VINs are scheduled for early August makes me wonder if mine will be July or August now...? I ordered about a few days prior to your date and confirmed a couple of days before as well. However, given I'm on the east coast, and you are in AZ, I can't see how I would get delivery before you. That said, given Tesla recently announced they are pounding out 2000 vehicles a week, and given that they seem to be now pushing 7,8, and 9000 series VINs into Production, I could see 11000 VINs getting into Production in the next 1-2 weeks (early July) and delivery by end of July...maybe? I guess July 31st delivery is still July delivery!

I should be a few days ahead of you, in theory (75D, confirmed 5/6.) No communication from DS, no VIN - the JAVA hack says 9-19!

I really thought they meant July when they said it, and certainly wasn't expecting the "Late June" 90Ds to really be Late June/early July while the "July" 75Ds are late August or September. It might have changed my decision process.

(But mostly I hate waiting... )

Keep in mind that that 2000/week number is across both S and X.

im also 118XX and i was told it was due to come out of the factory on 22aug but im also on the east coast so thats looking like the end of aug to me and thats being optimistic... of course when i ordered it said july .. i should have known better..

Ya, if we had anticipated late August or September we probably would have ordered a 5 seat. Only reason why we ordered 6 is to get it sooner.

Based on posts in the various 75D threads and earlier posters, I'm hoping for an August delivery, but the travel time across the Pacific is always an unknown that can add 1-2 weeks, depending on if my vehicle makes the sailing schedule.

Yeah, but they still haven't made many D90 6 seaters with VINs in the 7xxx range, like mine. Also, 2000 per wk is models S AND X

I wasnt even assuming 2000 a week - more like 750 a week.

What are people's estimates of percentages of 4000-7000 VINs actually delivered?

Ordered 5/15, confirmed 5/22. 75D 6 seats and everything but towing. No Vin. DS says likely production starting in August. You ordered and confirmed after me. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to assignment of VINs.

I ordered and confirmed a couple of days before you did and have a 118xx VIN. I was told by my DS to expect a late Aug delivery. However, that was before I got my VIN. I am thinking (hoping) that this is more on the lines of under promise and over deliver!

im sorry i was mistaken im not 118xx im 112xx .. however if he was told late aug that actually sounds a little promising a quick search on the fourm shows me two other 112xx but in the EU

First time on TMC.. First post..

I just received my VIN today 120xx, but no delivery date. I confirmed my order on June 13th.
This is all that is noted on mytesla page "Your order is now confirmed and in the factory production queue. Your delivery experience specialist will reach out with updates regarding your Model X."

I am actually wondering if the production has been ramped up so much that I might get it earlier than late August/early September as I was told by my DS.
