The strange thing is that the door handles line up! I would rather have the handles line up so probably going to let it be.
Yeah, I noticed that. Very odd!

Ugh...I'm scared to ask which location. Something seems odd with mine too but at this point, I'm used to it. Like you, I don't get off on being a prick to people who really don't have much control over what's going on anyway. I just let my wife throw the fits (to me privately), stayed cool with the Tesla team and they made it clear that they appreciated my patience. I got an email stating that the vehicle was here, got a phone call from my DS saying that it was just about there BUT MyTesla is saying "Your Tesla has been built and is in transit from the factory". I don't know what to believe but I all I ask is that it be ready on 12/27 as promised...and for those doors on the passenger side to line upSo - my MX just got a mysterious delay. Per the above delivery was originally set for 12/27 that was moved up to 12/15. Got a call from my DS today - said the MX that was supposed to be in transit (and arrive on Monday) was still in California about to be loaded on the truck. He was totally puzzled about how this could happen (since it was supposed to already be in transit) and said they were looking into it.
He didn't have a specific ETA but we setup a delivery date of 12/22 hoping that the car would arrive by then. He thought that was realistic. Will likely call him again later this week to make sure it really left the factory this time. DS also encouraged me to call anytime for an update on where it is. I tried to be really understanding (I am sure I will get my car soon) but the sudden delay the day before my delivery date was a bit strange. The DS was expecting me to be really upset I think - you catch more flies with honey than vinegar I think... he seemed to appreciate it.
Soon I guess! Still says "in production" on My Tesla, but guessing that might stay that way until after I get my car...
Your experience and the issues related to your car are really concerning, and absolutely unacceptable! I cannot believe that Tesla has the audacity to be shipping these cars at this point in the game
My vin is 19K. I ordered it back in August and as soon as it confirmed they issued my vin. I delayed the order until Nov hoping to get 2.0. Mission accomplished!!!! I find it hard to believe that mine would be any different than the rest of them that were built at the same time. They were mostly all above 22K when mine hit the line. Someone thought the difference was the curved area on the left and right side of the 3rd row down by your feet. I believe it was curved on pre 22K and straight on post 22K. I'll check mine in the morning.I thought the all-weather mats for 2nd/3rd row didn't fit post ~22k Vins?
DS tells me there is a work around... worst case, if car (MX 75D, grey/white, 6 seat, winter, tow, AP 2.0) doesn't arrive by years end we can sign everything so we are eligible for 2016 tax credit and take delivery in early 2017.
@abikepeddler You might want to check with your accountant on that before you do it. One of the conditions of the credit is putting the car into service in the year you take the credit. (And I think their definition of that is getting the car titled in your name.)
Then ask yourself this question: "Do I want to accept delivery of my car and get it titled in my name before I have even seen it?" What happens if the car gets massive hail damage in-transit? The car is yours, so I assume you would need to file a claim against your insurance policy as I doubt Tesla's policy covers cars that are no longer theirs. What if the car has lots of imperfections and you would have rejected delivery and asked for a new car? Too late, it is already yours.

Mine is headed to the Decatur SC in Georgia.Ugh...I'm scared to ask which location. Something seems odd with mine too but at this point, I'm used to it. for all-weather they look nice. Guess, I won't be getting them if they won't fit my vin though.View attachment 205851 View attachment 205852
Some better close up pics. The edge rolls up by the door, but I really like how far under the front seats they go!
My driver side fwd aligns perfectly with the driver side door, the passenger side fwd and passenger door not so much. SighSeems like we'll probably see several with the passenger side FWD mis-aligned. On a positive note, if everyone notices and requests a fix perhaps they will get this taken care of sooner than later.
Apologies, I'm a newbie.Details man!
More details!!
Welcome, great to have you!Apologies, I'm a newbie.

Hoping for some software updates in the near future.
Happy Holidays,

I am also from San Diego and my car has been in production for 13 days now... who is your DS? Mines Jackie and she said she's confident that it'll get delivered before Christmas but I'm not too sure now.... you should check my Tesla and it should tell you if it's in production or not... Maybe Model X is having issues coming to San Diego? Apparently there's someone picking up delivery this Friday in the model S section...That is an excellent point. I will check with both my CPA as well as with DS. Don't want to expose myself to unnecessary financial burdens such as you described. I also don't want to give up the planned $7500 tax credit for 2016 but your point is well taken. The risk may not be worth it in the end.... I can always apply the tax credit to 2017 tax year....
This weekend and next week is going to be slow.
3 more referrals to get to 10? Also do you know all the people that have used your Referral or was Tesla able to help you out as new orders rolled. No problem!!! If anyone wants to see certain pics of anything just let me know!! Gotta earn 3 more referrals so I'm more than happy to help anyone out!! Ha ha!! I'd help anyways though!
