Model X delivery is 2 months ahead of schedule

I placed my order at the end of January 2018 and the delivery time was late May. About 2 days ago, my delivery specialist called me and told me that my Model X actually will be ready end of this month(March). I was very surprised but also curious why the production schedule is 2 MONTHS ahead?? He just told me because Teals selected several custom style and decided to produce ahead of schedule. I still doubt this answer... Does anyone have a Similar situation like me? Please feel free share your thought and experience. Thank you so much guys!

The "2 MONTHS" is not really surprising because Tesla produces US cars toward end of each quarter to be delivered by end of quarter. So you either get delivery in March or late-May/June. If someone canceled their order (or moved to an inventory vehicle) it's possible that they are able to move yours to March delivery, which is likely what happened as you had "late May" delivery initially, ahead of all those with "June" deliveries.

Several folks have posted they ordered in February and are supposed to take delivery by end of this month. If you ordered in January, then I'm surprised it had given you an estimated delivery of May. It was still reading March delivery at the beginning of February for 75Ds and for the 100Ds, it was still reading March delivery in mid February.

75Ds slipped into May about 2 weeks before 100Ds did.
