Blog Model X Expected to Receive Top Rating in Crash Tests

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_video link=”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vCXaR3_r164″ video_title=”1″][vc_column_text]Telsa has predicted that the Model X will receive the highest safety rating ever for an SUV and it seems we’re about to find out if that’s true. Videos have emerged from the National Highway Travel Safety Administration showing the Model X during crash tests, which means a rating is likely at any time.

The tests included a frontal crash, a side crash, and a pole crash. It’s expected that the vehicle will receive a 5-star rating in each category.[/vc_column_text][vc_video link=”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=scvG5aCl47c” video_title=”1″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_video link=”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SjapNSJJT0I” video_title=”1″][/vc_column][/vc_row]

I can verify 'this'. One week ago on roadtrip a deer came thru my X windshield after another car hit it (made it fly?). We then hit a tree. My son is unscathed. I'm hurt (left eye/socket) from deer only.

Posting this because I am thankful to those that work on the safety of our cars and regulations. As well on the medical staff that deals with accidents -- silent heroes for sure!

A couple angles of car at salvage yard. B&W to make less intense.

Thanks for posting....

I watch all the Telsa crash videos and read about all Tesla crash blogs I can find....

It is a way of tempering my driving of my MX P100DL.... It is so unbelievable powerful and can create such differential speeds in a split second.

Force=Mass * Acceleration is an unforgiving equation..

All these accident photos and threads are really bringing me down. :(
Sad to hear about your deer collision. Happy to hear that you and your son come out reasonably well.
Accidents are certainly sad but happen 1000s of times of day with all cars.
The positive to focus on is how well the 'car' took care of the occupants!
