model x falcon wing door roof glass cracked :(...

The sensor failed us this time and falcon wing door on driver side hit a shelf hanging from the garage ceiling.
How would you all deal with this?
Seems beyond glass repair. One fine crack extends about 8-10 inches.
I did find the part

Looks like it could be had used/salvage for about $400.
We have comp/collision but I'm not sure it'd be worth the increased premiums of a claim.

*hit happens. You could ask for (total) cost estimate from the insurance. I'd probably just put transparent silicone caulk onto it and drive until the next mishap (or when I sell the vehicle).
