    Hi,

I ordered my MX on 10/22 right before the FSD went up in price to lock in the $8k. I intended to take delivery in January and my specialist noted that on my account. I had been showing an estimate of late December delivery up until last week. I'm guessing the delivery estimates disappeared after the factory production halt. Has anybody gotten any updates on when deliveries will resume? Do we expect deliveries to resume as normal for those who ordered earlier or are we all being held 'til March?

I've contacted both my sales and delivery advisors and have heard nothing back. This is my first Tesla experience. What's the normal expectation for advisor response. I've emailed and texted, it's starting to feel like a bad dating app date and I've been ghosted.

    Thanks for any info.

I ordered Nov. 30 and my delivery window disappeared last Saturday. I was able to get a response from a sales advisor and she said that may mean that I'm about to get a VIN and to watch for a text scheduling delivery. However that was 4 days ago and I have heard nothing.

I wanted to add that I checked back with her yesterday and she says my order still shows a December delivery but she can't see any more information than that. It feels like we are running out of time with the holidays, so I'm not really hopeful.

Finally heard back. My delivery has changed to 2/18-3/18. No explanation why.

Tesla really needs to work on their quality and delivery experience.

We ordered an MX on December 6th and the specialist called us on December 14th to let us know it would not be arriving by the end of December as first thought.
I have been checking our account daily and today we have a new estimated delivery date of February 12 - March 12.
Oh, I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas. I think I have watched 90% of MX YT videos. I am thinking of renting an MX off of Turo to get a feel for one.

Model S/X production at the start of each quarter is for overseas so I wouldn't have expected a 1st month (of the quarter) delivery in NA.

Why would you want to take delivery now when there is most likely a change coming real soon?

Cancelled my Dec 7th order since delivery was Feb 15 - Mar 15. Bought a 2021 Toyota Sienna Platinum. I love it. Yeah the drivetrain is vastly different and so is the room and convenience. The latter won thanks to the delay.
Still have my Model 3 P to zoom zoom if I want to.

The Sienna is a pretty amazing package now. And with gas prices where they are, probably almost as cheap to run as the X from a "fuel cost" perspective assuming you're charging at home on your own dime with an electric

You may be a little sad if the refresh delievers. If it stinks, then yah... meh.

I shopped ice cars for my 2nd car. I just can’t do it. Doesn’t matter what bell and whistle, yuck.

but obviously this is me. You do you. The upside of 20 major automakers is we can all find something we love.

No update on my delivery time. On my account, it still says Estimated Delivery: February 12 - March 12. We will reach out to you to schedule your delivery date. Delivery time frame is based on order date, profile submission, delivery location and vehicle configuration.

    My configuration:

    Long Range Plus All-Wheel Drive
    Deep Blue Metallic
    20" Silver Wheels
Black and White Premium Interior with Dark Ash Wood Décor
    Seven Seat Interior
    Autopilot
    Full Self-Driving Capability
    Pay-as-you-go Supercharging

So frustrating and exciting all at the same time :)

Me thinks they (Tesla) wait to formally announce it at the end of January. For now, they can't say anything which still sucks for those who wait.

Really hope it is a good refresh as I might get an X instead of Y.

Just noticed with the new refresh my delivery jumped from 2/18 - 3/18 to 17-21 weeks. I hope that's not accurate.

Correction: 17-21 weeks from my order date... that should still be in line with 2/18 - 3/18... fingers crossed.

I ordered mine in early December and paid if full December 14, as they said it was coming in. Well it came in and was a golf ball of dents so I didn’t accept. They said no worries they’d order another one. Now that the new version came out, I’ve gone to my account on Tesla.com and it no longer shows I paid for it. The salesman texted me and said it still shows paid, but I’ve asked for a screen print and have been ghosted by this guy again. Though he did text that the new one costs more, which I won’t pay for until I receive and accept it this time. What a terrible buying experience from Tesla. Really, couldn’t be much worse.

Yes. The Sienna is a hybrid and posts real 500+ miles on a tank. Usually 520 for 17 usable gallons. Costco gas is about $2.95/gal.
Its close but I don't have to wait to charge say for a trip to LA from San Jose, CA.

Does the new 2021 2nd row seats in the new Model X recline or do anything like that?
