Model X June Deliveries

YAY! I really can't believe it, but I took delivery of my X 75D today. So surreal.

Thank you to all the forum members for all the valuable insights and helping me get to this point.
I'll write up more after I start playing around with this amazing vehicle...I have SOOOOO much to learn.

Picked up yesterday at Fremont. Red with 22's. Delivery experience left some room for Improvement. All of our paperwork was wrong. First customization specialist was a little awkward and clearly not well versed in the vehicle, Naina. Second one, Lisa, was much better informed about the product. I wish they would actually take you on a test drove for a few minutes to demo the product and features. Also it sucks that the app doesn't work for 24-48 hours so you can't demo summon. Also there was a software update waiting to be installed. Why not do that before delivery?

Had to return the car due do a service light and reduced power warning light came on after a couple miles of driving. We have a qx60 loaner now with amazing cvt tranny. ;-)

Fit and finish was good. Only thing we noticed was a nick in the headliner near driver side FWD. Didn't even bother mentioning it. No quick fix for that.

Sorry to hear of your delivery bummer, you can still do summon from in the car, our delivery person had the car go from the showroom out the door. Hope they get you back in the car asap.

At least you did not have to drive home to get a piece of paperwork which they forgot to mention...

Luckily that I live only 15 miles from the factory but I was an hour late to my scheduled meeting at work.

What color exterior did you get? I see you have black interior. I ended up arriving 615pm. Did the tour at 730 in a golf cart haha and left at 11:22pm. Yes it was late. Long story but I got it. I'll post my crazy story later.

Here are some pics. First pic is my S and the second is the X. I think I set a record for latest delivery time.

I saw someone with another black X with white seats and 20" wheels inside the tent at about 630pm. A white X with 22" wheels and black interior.

Ours is Blue (hence the smart ass Font color in signature ).

See that you also have the 22" wheels, can you share the Rated Miles vs Actual miles data? On my 1 week old 90D, I am getting about 75% of RM and it concerns me a little.

Hi @llngoc ! If you can teach me how to gather that data, I'd be happy to share. I've only been in the car for about 30 minutes driving time and I'm still overwhelmed about all the features.
When I charge to 90%, my rated range is 211. Seems low? Keep in mind I'm 75D.

If you bring up the Trip/Energy chart from the top buttons on your center display, you will see the projected range in the chart.

Do you base it off the 5, 15, or 30 mi consumption? 5mi = 76%. 30 mi = 67%. What does this mean? I've only driven ~30 miles.

In non-range charge mode my 75D charges to 211-213 miles.

Make sure you have range mode activated. I have seen quite a few who have not had it and it greatly affects the range.

I have range mode on for about a day but did not collect any data. Turn it off since the weather was getting toasty and did not want wife and kids to complain.

Let me turn it back on for a week and see if it makes any big difference.

With my model s and now the X I doubt I will ever shut it off. You can still dial in the temp's very sufficiently with it on. I believe there are threads on this.
