Now there's a dilemma. I've just got the invitation, but it's a long way from Northern Scotland and my other half has an important job interview that day so we couldn't make a holiday out of it. It's still a bit tempting, but I think I'm going to have to pass. Watching the streamed video, assuming there is one, is the more environmental thing to do anyway, but I'd still love to be there...

Hey Bonnie, didn`t they tell you there will be no event on the 29th? Not that I`m complaining... don`t have a reservation but dying to catch a live stream.

This is so Tesla. Several Sig reservation holders asked if there was an event on the 29th and were told "no, nothing", only to then receive the invite 8 days before it happens.
The incompetence. It hurts.

It's not impossible they decided to have an event at the last minute, because of foldgate. (But I doubt it, it was probably the plan all along.)

I think it was intentional. They didn't want to announce the event yet and if they didn't deny it when asked then it would have ruined the surprise.

If it was a last minute decision, I think it might have to do with the VW scandal. Perfect time to drive home the fact that Tesla is a different car company.
