The experience. Reserved the car 27 months ago and still waiting. I'm told "Your vehicle is actually in production as we speak, so your delivery day is coming up soon!" The wait is almost over and that's very, very exciting! I'm sure it will be worth the wait, but still a long wait nonetheless.

How long are you folks in California taking to get your personalized plates? I ordered mine back in early January and haven't received them yet with no updates (sounds familiar?)
I ordered mine last week and was told 6-8 weeks. Will let you know when I receive them.

Still Trying to Figure This All Out
Mine took about 60 days and until the plates came you heard nothing nor was there a way to check on the status or even if they accepted your order except for the initial order page you had to print. Worked remarkedly like the Tesla delivery process.
Now I have to go to the DMV and swap 2 plates, add another car for one that I traded and try to get a refund for the registration I bought for the car I got rid of. I had prepaid the reservation before I traded because I did not know I was going to get rid of it. Since the DMV restricts you to three items at a time I suspect a head will explode.
Add to that the plates for the Tesla are still wrapped up with the stickers still in the bag as well as the car they are supposed to be on. What are the odds they will just transfer the stickers and registration from one car to the other. I give it 0 odds.

I reserved the same thing in VA... it will hold for 90 days.. should be enough time... if not I'll get it anyway and put it on my ICE car...
