I will write my delivery experience in more detail later. In short (somewhat), we went to IC (hall 3 entrance) at 4 PM (my appointment was at 5 PM). We were immediately checked in and asked to sit in the lounge/waiting area. The Delivery Adviser came in 5 minutes and greeted us. I started doing the paper work. There were a lot but were were done in 10 minutes. Then he took us to the car. They had quite a few cars lined up in the hall. The DA explained the keys and how to use it. Then he explained the inside of the car, the screen. It was pretty good though he did not cover everything on the screen, but the main ones. There was a problem with the left FWD not opening with the keys, so he had to do a 2 button reset and then it worked. I quickly checked the car for any issues (misalignment and rubber thingy around the doors). It was pretty much flawless. He then drove the car outside of the hall to the front of IC. We then got more time and more light (sunlight) to look at the car. I did not find any major issues. I drove it straight to my detailer for PPF and ceramic coating. He is still working on it. So I do not have the car yet to look into more detail.

I was told by the Delivery Specialist before that I will get the iPhone adapter installed in the car because I have the PUP. But it was not there. So I emailed him and awaiting reply.

I have email from them saying it will be included. I also don't care much but I will still give it a try.

Good deal! Mine didn't come with the adapter. My car also went to get full PPF done. Came back on Sunday night. The installer spent a lot of time with the car. The PPF install is flawless, tucked in every edge. He also wrapped the door sills (X logos) and the metal trunk deck.

I've been driving the car for 3 days now. It is SOOO good!

Had a bit of an issue with TPMS warnings as it got cold quickly here. I have to fill up the tires a bit more since they were delivered at 40PSI and I believe the recommendation is 42.

Congrats on the car! Looks like my Twin!

Do you have a recommendation for PPF installer in our market?

Congratulations! Did you get some snow already?

The recommendations is 42 for 22" and 45 for 20" I guess. Check the rear door sill for the recommendation.

Took delivery today. Pretty frustrating and disappointing experience at Littleton, CO. I'll share more later, but not the experience and emotions you want to have buying a car of this type and value... or anything for that matter. I always read all negative reports with reason and perspective in mind, but disappointed to have that negative experience myself.

In the end, my wife and I are trying to put smiles on our faces since we have both looked forward to this (and worked very hard) for a long time, but, just wish it was different.

I will say....I do feel bad for the employees. It's not necessarily their fault. Tesla is delivering an insane amount of vehicles per day. Reportedly 80/day at Littleton. There were two trailers of Model 3s being unloaded while we were there and at least 4 other active deliveries going on while we were there.

Picking up today. Trying to purchase reasonable GAP insurance, but neither the insurer (USAA) or the Tesla finance (through Chase or any other Tesla financer offers as Tesla only allows Alliant to offer loans for Tesla customers in certain states). Haven't found anyone that sells it independently either Please, no comments about pros/cons of Gap Insurance. We do the cost/benefit on it and there's no doubt it would be "nice to have." Hope our experience is better than Brave, but expectations lowered significantly.

Hey everyone - I bit the bullet and ordered a Model X before the supercharger deadline went away. It was confirmed on 9/17, and I got a call yesterday (9/20) saying it would be ready for delivery on 9/26 - is that insane?? They confirmed it was a newly built car that's currently in production, so it's not like it was a reject sitting in a lot somewhere. Very strange how quickly they can pump this out. My model S took 3.5 months to receive back in early 2017. I added all this to the tracking spreadsheet but my row isn't showing up for some reason. Has anyone else had delivery this quickly?
