Wiki Model X Order/Delivery Tracking - Google Sheet

Heard from Tesla today that our X has gone into production - and should be delivered last week in June.

Tesla is likely balancing hitting the 200K US threshold in July and generating as much revenue as possible in Q2 to at least start reducing their quarterly losses.

So... They're likely delaying some US deliveries into July - and shipping those cars internationally (most likely to Canada).

And, for the cars they are delivering in the US this quarter, they could be prioritizing delivery of the highest priced cars (P100D, 100D) with PUP/seat upgrades, assuming those cars generate more net revenue per delivery.

We've ordered our X as a 100D, with premium options (ultra white seats, 7 seats, PUP, EAP, FSD).

If US orders are being pushed into July - are they 75s or 100s ordered with few options?

Mine was a loaded 75.

Will be interesting to see this play out. I started lurking here in mid-March and watched the q1 cycle pretty closely. It certainly seemed like they delivered a *load of cars in the last 2 week’s of March. Heck, the new MCU didn’t happen until the last couple weeks of March. My OA was saying that they were delivering 20-30/day or more total and that was in March before the 3 started to ramp.

We know the network can handle the volume. We know they are production constrained.
We know that once July 1 hits it’s going to be ludicrous mode for the remainder of the year.

Look at what they did in WA to deliver Model 3s before 6/1 when the state credit expired.

I’m betting very few of us will be beyond the first week of July at worst. We will see

If this is their reasoning behind screwing relationships with their customers (Which I know it is) then that's just bad business in my opinion, The customer should always come first specially when spending 100k plus on a car. I wasn't too fussed with the delivery being delayed just the terrible customer service and zero communication that drove us out of it.

mine is a 100d with basically everything except FSD and 6 v. 7 seats. but i did order mine just about 10 days ago and have a rough estimate from the DS of early to mid August.

Got mine today. Everything was perfect except the fwd edges rubbed back panels slightly when closing on both sides. I'll have them fix it. I took it straight to detail shop to powder coat wheels black, wrap it in frosty blue metallic avery wrap and black out all chrome. Also changing t on steering wheel to frosty blue. So I got a common white car but in a week or so I'll have a one of a kind light blue one. I'm excited.

lol dude you're in socal. Takes a week tops to produce the car. Maybe a day or two to transport and prep the car. Relax. Those of us that are closest to Fremont CA are last in line for delivery for the quarter.
really not sure why this company has what seems to be a policy of promising things they can't deliver on. my salesperson scoffed at me when i placed an order in early may and questioned whether they would actually be able to delivery in june as promised. 'you will get your car in june 100%' he retorts back at me. of course i barely even got a VIN a few days ago and based on what you guys are seeing no way they will build and deliver a car this month. why can't they just be realistic and upfront with people, instead of hiding behind 'estimates' that they cannot back or stand behind? and re: The poster above, if they can't stand behind their promises and a customer wants to cancel, they get upset at you? wth.

of course my DS won't respond to my emails either. i want to get behind this company, their products are innovative, but they just really treat their customers terribly.

Question- once the status says the car is in transit will it update once it is delivered on site? Or only once it is delivered to the customer? My car has been in transit for a couple of weeks now, and I am having a hard time getting information from my DS. Trying to figure out if the website will tell me once it is actually on location?

If Tesla manages to deliver the 200,000th vehicle somewhere in the first week of July, I think the international customers will take a hit for the rest of the year since Tesla will try to maximize US deliveries for the next 2 quarters for obvious reasons.

Mine was ordered on 4/30 and vin on 5/10. Eta delivery 6/22. 75D fully loaded.

My Vin was 5/8 75D loaded and nothing but what the DS said of late July. Of course it may not be true but if it is, I was ball faced lied to by about 4 Tesla Reps. That's the crap I keep hearing like the gent above who cancelled his order. It's not the wait time at all. It's the bullcrap promises and misleading statements. If they couldn't deliver in Mid June like I was told 40 times then just say so! No harm. Now I am out a vehicle and racking a ton of miles on the vehicle that wasn't intended to have miles racked. Frustration.

Have the same vin day as you but still no update ordered on 4/19 vin on 5/5

It's really hard to make any sense at all regarding when things happen in regards to ordering dates, confirmation, VIN assignments, etc. My DS told us we were definitely going into production this week and he conservatively scheduled our deliver for the 22nd of June. He has been really good at communicating with us regarding our status and scheduling. Makes me relieved after reading some posts on here about DS's not communicating at all with their clients. Ours is always immediately returning either phone calls or text messages which has been really nice. Hopefully you are right around the corner in going to production.

Update, so Tesla offered me an Inventory with a discount. Deciding if I want to go that route.
Sweet that is pretty cool. I waited 2.5 years for my Model 3 so I have some experience with Tesla patience lol. Bottom line would not touch another car so patience is key for me.
