I ordered my model x 6 seater on 10/26. Got text message early this week that my car would exit factory on 12/27 (today) and asked me to visit link to select a delivery date. I chose delivery date of 12/28 but VIN never showed up on my account. I ended up having to call the Fremont Delivery Center and asked WTF is going on. They told me it's now looking like the delivery date has been moved to 12/31. Had I not called them today I would have been sitting at home tomorrow waiting for the car to be delivered to me.

This is really horrible customer service by Tesla. I'm now worried that I won't even be getting the car delivered on time to hit the federal tax credit cut off date. Sigh...

Del went as planned yesterday morning. Did all the downpayment and lease agreement online before I went in. So just had to sign a few docs and looked over the car, which was PERFECT to our eyes. Drove amazing with only 13miles on odometer. Being that this is our 4th Tesla, we didn't need or get a review of it. Did not have latest update, and car asked to do it last night. So will see what that is. FSD and AP is still calibrating cameras, so could not test it out yesterday.
I would not worry about VIN, when I got my call and text about del, the vin didn't show up till 2 days before I took del, which was a few days after my text and call.
Since this is my wife's new car, replacing her 2016 P90DL, it feels quite a bit slower. It is quieter and suspension feels ridiculously better. Her old car just started to have a lot of little things lately. Glad we lease and don't buy these cars, they seem to not hold up for past 3 years to well in our experience.
 
Folks .. I live in fremont, ordered on 11/15 and have no information on delivery whatsoever. I ordered model X and a model 3 so I could take tax write off. Just got a message that my mode 3 won’t be delivered this year and still no info on mode x. Tesla’s customer service has been downright horrible. No one cares to respond back, pick up the call and customer advisors never responded to a single text since the day they took both the orders.
We have seen many examples in the history, no matter how great the products are, poor customer service takes the company down. I hope Tesla doesn’t become another Oracle.
 
so first it said i can pick up on 29 at 11am, then it said it can't make it and move to 30 at 5pm and I just receive message said it move again to 31 at 1pm , what's going on !!!???

I experienced the same issue when my delivery date was 12/26 first, then moved up to 12/24, and then delivery times changed three times from morning to the afternoon, then back to 12/26 again. Ended up having to cancel first portion of our family vacation and ate the cost in order to take the delivery prior to 12/31.

I hope everything works out for you tomorrow and that you will enjoy the new car as much as we did.
 
Anyone have updated info on order to delivery? I just finalized my configuration on Wednesday. This is our 3rd MX and the previous 2 were delivered much sooner than estimated time. This one is a surprise for my wife and trying to work out details so she doesn’t find out about the vehicle. Thanks in advance!
 
I live in Orange County, Ca and I ordered my black XP on jan 2, 2020 and received a text Friday that my vehicle we enroute. I picking it up Wednesday feb 26th. I was told 4 - 7 weeks when I ordered, only to be told at the end of January it would be mid to end of March. After many unhappy emails I was then told mid to end of February. So happy to say that almost 8 weeks after I ordered it, I’m finally getting it.
 
Model X range plus - white with 5 seat black interior, full auto.

* Ordered Feb 22 (Sat)
* Wall connector back in stock email Sunday Feb 23, immediately ordered!
* Wall connector arrived Feb 27
* Notified with VIN Feb 29 (WOW i wasn't expecting THAT!)
* Wall connector installed yesterday on 60 Amp
* Delivery appointment tomorrow

When I talked to the delivery specialist last Sat she said the car was already there. Having just received the notification, I needed to move money out of savings, so I gave myself a few days to get ready.
