Model X P100D UK Purchase for Grey Market - Advise needed

Had booked a Model Y but since wasn't too sure about the early 2022 delivery timeline, went ahead and bought a Model X Ludicrous 100D (2019).

The car has about 40k mileage, and includes add ons such as Premium Connectivity, Full Self Driving Capability Package etc. Since I am exporting the car for use in grey market, wanted to ask about members experience generally, and in getting the LTE connectivity issue addressed specifically.

Can support be sought from local Tesla Service Centers for upgrading LTE connectivity for grey market?

Any useful tips or advice is welcomed.

I heard Tesla is not grat with gray market support so you are better off talking to unofficial repair shops - they should be able to install necessary maps (assuming the car leaves Europe you'll need different maps for navigation) and lte sim card changes (you'll need to supply your own simcard and pay for data yourself). Make sure the supercharger port is the same in the gray market as it is on the car because otherwise you might be looking at the chargeport change too (Assuming there are superchargers, anyway, if there are not then make sure the adapters for DC charging are available).

Unless you are sure how you will make it work , this is a very risky move. Even to buy a simple part from Tesla you have to provide VIN# and there is practically no source for procuring parts outside of Tesla. Unless you are a HW and SW guru yourself and can improvise and create both HW and SW bypass/ workarounds, this looks like a recipe for an expensive move with a high risk that it may not work out as you intended. That said , best of luck on whichever route you decide to finally take.
