Picked my 90D on Saturday and generally fine.

I found that the rear side windows (on the FWDs) cannot be fully opened, TS told me this is the case for all Model X, true? And why?

    Cheers.

I think all model X rear windows cannot be opened. My personal view is because of the electric door, I use to drive a 7-seater with electric doors and rear windows cannot be fully open as well. But it is only my guess.

Other cars are like that too. I think it is just a design problem. Not enough space for the window to lower all the way into the door.

Probably safety feature ... imagine young kids can slick out their head out of the window and it is very scary. My kids are very excited inside tesla than any other car.

    Just a thought

I'll say it is a child safety design
