Someone keyed the entire car so it needed a full repaint anyway - and they offered to change the color for the same price since it would require the same amount of work to get it flawless.

That person needs some education.. So sorry about what happened but you made an awesome decision, congrats!!

What was the cost for the repaint to the insurance company?

That's part of the reason I fully wrapped my car, it's possible, but difficult, to key all the way to the paint. The paint protection films are thicker than the a vinyl wrap.

The first week with my very first green Model S in 2013 someone hit it with a hammer 3 times.
