If it worked like this that would be awesome. The reason I suggested the downwards angle (cuddling) the front seats, was because you can see clearly in the interior design photos that the base has a downward curved angle towards the floor.

I see. I had expected to find that this was one of the source of delays (ie. obtaining regulatory approval).

Is the windshield extended all the way here?

I wonder if they will swing out electrically, it will be too hard to reach the passenger side if you are driving by yourself. Actually, do you even need to reach the passenger side...? Would the sun ever bother the driver from the passenger side of the windscreen?

Appears so, previously leaked mule images show that there's just a sticker on the exterior to hide it as opposed to actual car paneling. Also -- people have been focused on the alignment of the falcon doors and think it was a purposeful camouflage to keep you from seeing the front windshield extending upwards like that. My only curiosity is how they will handle the front facing camera and data cables for it.

There's a narrow flat conduit that runs back across the glass towards the center of the vehicle. This picture is conveniently angled so the A-pillar masks it.

Looking at the plastic molding on the second row mounts makes me think the second row is removable rather than folding flat. I think that could be a release lever.

Regulations still require mirrors, so it was expected that the X will have mirrors.

This thread has the bestest pictures... and I don't mean the X renders.

Is that seat folding or a psych test?

Mark is sending me detailed pictures of interior/exterior colors from the configurator. I will make a video and talk about specs and looks.

I'm leaning towards the Deep Blue Metallic. It's gorgeous and fits the Model X rather than going for Multicoat Red which attracts too many police.

I could order with 22" and use credits to buy 20". But I need two full sets (summer + winter) which will be costly. And it's too much hassle. So I'll just go for 20" summer+winter from the factory.

Those are rocket launcher bays for blowing away obstacles when the falcon wing doors are open and in attack position

Still no cupholders in the back as far as I can see. And it looks like they preserved the rather oddball armrest and retrofittish center console from the S. Why?

It looks like the third row has a center console, probably with cup holders

I'll be disappointed if there are no rear cup holders.

As for the center console, I have it in my Model S and I don't find it to look like a retrofit. I think that having the option for console or not is still of great benefit to Tesla as some folks really prefer an empty area.
