Model X Squealing Brakes

Our Model X was delivered a week ago and I already noticed very high pitch squealing sound. Does anyone have this issue? I took it into the service center and they told me it is a 10 minute fix. I still hear the sound.

Many cars, not just Model X, can squeal/squeak brakes. ICE cars often will wear to a point that the sound goes away. It takes longer on an EV because the load on the brakes are so low they take much longer to break in. Mine Mx squealed for almost a year until it eventually went away.

Sometimes my current ICE car brakes will start squealing after a high pressure car wash. It takes quite a few miles and some heavy breaking for it to wear through and go away.

I had the squealing sound in the beginning, but after a few hundred miles it's gone

If you drive around with regenerative braking set to low, the squealing should go away pretty soon. You can then set regen to normal.
