We just jumped back in the queue. (We originally had P1 in Canada but gave it up thinking we would not be ready for another big Tesla in 2014). Now with the delay, we decided that my wife needs her very own Tesla and the Model X is the right fit for her usage. So here we are again.

It should only be a difference of a week or two. Still, would be nice to have the first one.

I like your optimism. But Canada will not receive 500+ Model X per week.
Assume they manage to build a few hundred a week in the early ramp... Those go to the US, Europe, China and some of them to Canada. Let's say maybe 5% (proportional to the number of reservations). So maybe 25 ramping to 50 a week. Which means about a 4 to 5 months wait.

I guess they will produce cars for oversees countries in the start of each quarter, with delivery in the end, then produce for NA, this way Tesla will get high delivery numbers for Model X in each quarter.

Does anybody know what percentage of S reservation holders opted to get their money back rather than purchase the vehicle? I realize it's not a perfect model but it would be nice to get a sense of what to expect in terms of the X.

I made my reservation very nearly one year before you (9/9/2013) and my sequence number was 5,625. (BTW, I canceled my reservation in favor of the Model S described below. Impatience drove me to the S, but I'm still hearing the call of the X. One day...)
