It will be interesting to see how TM handles this situation (start of X production/reservations for and S production). There are certainly some people that want an S instead of an X.....But, how will they handle it if they come out with a 100+ battery pack with the X...will S buying decrease while potential S buyers wait for the 100 pack? If they do will TM be able to ramp sufficient production of the X to make it to guidance of 55K production for 2016. Will there be orphan Ss sitting around?
The decision on the best way to proceed with X introduction/features/production to keep people from dropping the S reservation/produced cars is WAY above my pay grade. Osborne effect?
Some preliminary numbers:
- 597 so far for the month of April (19.3 US / day + 0.6 Asia Pacific / day) = 19.9 / day
- Rolling averages are still way down from the peak before the D announcement. But seasonal and D recovery to historical averages seems to be happening
- 3 Months: 755
- 6 Months: 642
- 12 Months: 979
- Lifetime averages
- Per Day at 22.4 (very stable since the D announcement - from 22.1 to 22.6 - over the 7 months)
- Per Week at 157.3
- Per Month at 681.7
Will publish the updated graph/numbers/stats in a few days to see if I can get some late comers in the stats (as usual).

Congrats and welcome to TMC as well. You're number is in line with the stats. On 4/30 we had a report of production 17,138 (so around 100 in that 4 day period which is close to the 19-20/day). Perhaps you looked at the total of production + signatures? I just posted the stats for April. Hope you like it.
My reservation sequence is 67 for Model X (Australia). I have been advised that clients can choose to have Signature or Non Signature versions after prices are announced for Australia.

That would cover a VERY large yard and it would be a good test bed for their autopilot technology :smile:
There are plenty of battery powered lawn mowers out there. I haven't used a drop of gas for mowing in over 20 years.

There is the post from Mycroft Model X Tally - Page 6 where he calls the Model X "nearly production ready" - and people assumed the first Sigs would come out in 2013.
And in July 2012 a certain "bonnie" stated that she'd thrilled if that happened (ah - the first sign of "maybe it won't"...)
Oh well. Time flies...
Time certainly has passed, can't say it has flown by, but the last year certainly has. 31k kms later...One bloody guy less in the line.

And, in keeping with our Northernmost Model S Registration (for NoAm. Those GulfStream-tropical Norwegians have us beat)....we received reservation #17979 for our Northernmost Model X yesterday. 63.03ºN Latitude....
Wow! Congrats. Hopefully our Model X's will cross paths someday! Hope to try out the Alaska highway in mine next year!
