Model X Timeline - From Prototype to Production

Just got a text. My MX LR FSD white / cream 5 seat, will be ready for pick up 9/13 or three weeks + four days, post order. Was expecting early October based on some OP experience. SA e-mailed me the window sticker which shows the VIN. Given it'll be Friday the 13th, I'm hoping to not find many deficiencies. Don't have a warm and fuzzy feeling about that, having read some of the stories on this forum.

Picking up ours on the 13th also...or expect to...The peeps at the SC are less than informed..if that is possible. Good luck to you

I ordered my Model X LR, stock wheels, midnight silver, white 6 seater, with Full Autopilot on 8-23-2019, crossing my fingers for a Sept delivery.

The holdup is not QC on the white upholstery. My driver's seat is a mess. Picked up car this week. Good luck all!

Yeah, we were hoping the holdup was due to a surprise interior refresh, 250kw charging, better QC, etc. Oh well, one can only hope.

Great video. I backed my X out of my driveway and heard a pop and wheel was stuck. Towed to Tesla and they said it is out of warranty. I have a Toyota Prius with 250000 miles on it and the Forlink did not break. This cost me about $1000. I wonder if this is a design flaw.
