Hi,

Not owned a Tesla before and not super knowledgeable about cars in general, so please excuse what could be a stupid question. Just went to check out a 2018 model. I noticed what looks like the upper suspension arm is really close to the wheel. See pic. Is this normal? Adjusting the ride height did not move it away from the wheel at all. It was right up over the top of the wheel itself and only about 1 inch above. It just seemed super close and might cause an issue if the tire dragged something fairly large up there that could get jammed between whatever this is and the tire itself.

Yes, that’s why you can’t put snow chains on your front wheels.
