Model y 18" vs 19"

The reason for the stiff suspension is due to its weight which you cannot change. you can spend a lot of money for the adjustable suspension system.
Not sure if 18” when can clear the caliper. You will gain slight cushion but you will lose stability due to increased tire side wall (if it fits)
For me, 21” MYP wheel/tire combo feels a little too soft.

My model y has a very rough ride with the 19" wheels, if I switch to 18", will it make much of a difference?
This has been done by people on this forum. There is some detailed discussion in the following thread.

Putting 255/50r19 (1" taller) quatrac pros @ 40 PSI softened my ride and reduced sound. Note that is as tall as you can go without hitting your suspension. I'm tempted to try lower pressure. At 35 PSI they are rated for more than my GVWR.

Great snow and rain traction are a nice bonus. Consumption is higher and dry cornering performance is lower.
