19 does fit, but when I asked Tesla recently their excuse was the brake calipers not clearing. It did for me for one winter.
I need to replace my tires on the 19s so what is the consensus on best 19 inch tires for mostly winter driving, some snow in Northeast but not full snow tires.

I’ll offer the installer $50 if they don’t fit. Scheduled for next week.

Asked the SC if I could pickup the snow wheel/tires when they arrive and they surprisingly said they were available and could make the package same day. I dropped by that evening in my MYP and they didn’t say anything about compatibility and helped me load them in my MYP.

He pointed out that they were directional tread and was very pleasant.

Just installed them and NO issues with fitment. Suggest a 3” extension, a deep 21 mm socket, and the lifting pucks. Job was very easy, and the ride is noticeably smoother with the extra sidewall.

Some pics. Ordered center caps and lug covers. These wheels would look much better painted black.

I hope I’m not asking a dumb question but here it goes; Just got a MYP and installed a front spoiler; It’s already low enough; If I install 19’ wheels, will the car be 2’ inches lower? 😬🤔
No
enter in your current wheel/tire combination and then the new one you want to use and compare
19 inch = diameter of the rim
overall diameter of rim + rubber tire = 28 inches for MY which is 255/45R19 255/40R20 255/35R21
Only way to drop 2 inches in height via a wheel change would be to drop 4 inches in diameter, so 24 inch diameter
Do not think there is any possible tire for 19 inch that would make that work, but if you did, you would have a lot of speedometer error

What I have now: Front 255/35/21, Rear 275/35/21…. Do I need to look for; 255/45/19 or 235/40/19 ?
Do the rear have to be bigger? Thanks

What ever you choose, I recommend getting the same size on all four so you can rotate them for better wear. The 21 inch Ubers are different rear and front and you cannot rotate them without unmounting the tire from the rim to reverse its direction before you can put on the opposite side. Nobody is going to bother doing that.

255/45R19 is the default size for the MYLR, so I would try to get that on all 4. You can vary that a bit as long as you are okay with the change in speedometer reading if going smaller or larger. A few threads on this forum about choosing different tires, explore them first to see what others have done. For example, getting 19 inch rim that are 8.5 inch wide instead of 9.5 will provide more protection against curb rash.

Thanks, makes lots of common sense. Great insurance/curb protection when my wife drives 😬😂🤣👍🏻

Will this wheel and tire package work on a MYP?

The description specifically says NOT compatible but believe I have seen some MYP’s with these wheels. Can I get 100% confirmation they will work before ordering. They go in and out of stock. TIA

What’s the max width wheel side recommend on a ser if 19’ for a MYP?

I have been looking for a set of 19" wheels and tires suitable for a Minnesota winter (Minneapolis area) and I did notice that one site recommended 285 tires which is probably as wide as you'd want to go.
However, in my quest so far, I have come up with the following:
Wheels:
19" Gemini either used or new from Tesla $$ unknown
19" Ohm wheels are about $400 each from Discount Tire but may be scarce
20" Zink wheels that look very similar to Uberturbines and are $600 each. They also have a 19" that is "coming soon"
-----
Tires:
Michelin Pilot Sport All-Season 4 seem to be the best option because they come in 275/40/R19 and 255/40/R19 for $320 and $292 respectively.
There are a variety of "winter" tires and "snow" tires but trying to find something consistent with the staggered sizing for the MYP is a pain.
-----
Question for all you Minnesotans: Do you think an All-Season is sufficient for a Minnesota winter? Consider too that if there is too much snow or ice then I am not going to want to take my MYP out driving around for fear of getting into an accident.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Check out the new TSportline 18" wheel and tire packages for the Performance Model Y. For driving in snow you generally want a narrower tire not a wider tread tire.
