We are close to taking delivery of a new model Y. Tesla is correcting some issues before that happens, but while I was inspecting the vehicle I noticed that the AC system is way louder than my model 3, particularly when the fan is on speed 10. At fan settings 8 (maybe even 9) and below, it seems reasonable and normal. The excessive noise is a low, constant growl and its loudness was quite surprising to me. I’m trying to figure out if this is normal since the AC system design has changed, or if something is maybe wrong with this particular vehicle.
