Model Y Bumper Question

Just got my model Y about two weeks ago and today I was reversing and slightly backed the corner into a bush. The bumper has some deep scratches. I tried to buff out the scratches myself but it’s too deep. Does anyone know if Tesla would do touch up paint to fix the scratches or would I have to go to a body shop?

Also while I was buffing it, I noticed that on both sides of my bumper there looks like a straight line dent where the bumper connects. See picture attached. Is this normal for all model Ys or do I have an issue with mine?

In general body shops are only interested in painting the whole panel or bumper,
which requires also removing the bumper, because it is impossible to spray a small area.
Telsa will only replace a bumper with a new pre-paint one.

If it just a small scratch, you'd better buy a touch point kit and do it yourself, there are tons of YouTube video showing how to proceed.

I understand your OCD on a brad new car, but this might not be the last scratch that you might get... :)

Unless you will paid up front, if you have no deductable using your car insurrance might increase your premium?

Anyways, you will certainly be the only one to notice any little touch up done on your car.

I recently noticed this too. It is not common with any car I've owned but may be common to the MY. The line you see appears to be a shrinkage issue of the plastic base material during the injection molding process. It won't harm anything, just looks not flat. Since it's not noticable except at very specific angles and within a certain distance, I am guessing it's "good enough" for Tesla QC 😂
