Model Y condition was without any problems

I just wanted to report that the folks in Jacksonville FL were so helpful and I look the exterior and interior of the car very closely and it looked perfect. The back seats all lined up, there was a few finger prints, but the Tesla sales guy cleaned them up with no problems. We had to drive home partially in the rain and the windshield wipers came on magically ( I set them up to come on Automatically). Even my FSD work great. The delivery guy said that he has noticed that the cars that are arriving now, from CA, have less quality control problems compared to March and April deliveries.
Ever since I ordered my MY on July 27 2020, I have been watching Youtube videos and reading posts and taking notes, so much that my wife comments to friends that I have an addiction to watching Tesla Porn. But all of the videos I watched helped me feel like I was more aware of what to look for in flaws before taking delivery of the MY and the delivery guy was impressed with all that I knew. Thank you all who post about your stories, because it helped me enjoy my experience.

I agree... The Jacksonville team (both sales and delivery) were outstanding to work with.

Hope the service folks are just ask good (if/when I need them).

Come back here and let us know the delivery condition please!
Well...it was mostly ok but not perfect (though the other Ys there were worse than mine). The good news is it’s in my driveway and couldn’t be happier. The

Overall...ok...I decided to leave the checklist at home and just go with my gut on what I saw. The biggest issues were 1: Hood bulge/gap (see pic) and 2: chargeport door (also see pic)...The rear door was a bit out of alignment and they said all were “in spec”...nothing was enough for me to refuse delivery and to their credit they fixed the hood before I left but they did say the rear door and chargeport were “within spec”...I will set a service appointment and move on with life as the Y is amazing otherwise...I am glad I’m leasing it as it makes minor issues even more minor and I am less inclinded to sweat the little stuff...

Just beautiful! Expect Tesla to make good on those two items. Could you post a pic of the rear door they said was within spec? We are test driving a MY this weekend with a plan for my wife to take it in a couple years when my Cybertruck reservation is (hopefully) filled. But I could see me liking the MY so much I may be unwilling to trade lol.

How is that charge port within spec. It's literally up and above the rest of the tail lights and you see a gap .

I don’t have a good pic that shows it well enough but here are a couple. The issue is the trim/body lines don’t align A noticeable amount and there is a pinch point at the corner of the door. Other Ys nearby had this same condition with one looking like the pinch point was actually just about rubbing the fender.
