Am in NC we don't get much cold or much snow ( if any ) during winter. Ill use them until its time to replace and then i will probably get all season tires for sure,
SC confirmed my vehicle has arrived, pickup set for tomorrow! Now I get to think about which 20" wheels to get, ditching the 21"s asap

Woke up to a VIN and momentarily had a "proceed with delivery" button that didn't work. That went away and now EDD went from 8/24-9/12 to "October" but VIN is still there. Hopefully means something is happening.
Took delivery today! Not a panel out of place, pleasantly surprised after the MYLR rental I had a few months ago. That one looked a bit off.

Mine has been steadily two weeks away for this entire week. Each day that passes, the EDD gets bumped by a day lol. Have to just laugh about it at this point.
I was told to expect our car on the 30th. Our dates switched from Aug20-Sept7 to Aug27-Sept 16 this morning. When I called this afternoon they said I should expect my car before the first half of Sept is up?
We got pushed back to those dates. We were thinking it was tow hitch shortage but your case blows that. So hopefully it's just a glitch?

Honestly take that with a grain of salt. People were seeing 2022 with their EDD and then all of a sudden they got their vin. Mine also changed to oct-nov from sept. I am taking it that it will likely change back tomorrow or Monday
Congrats. And there's another one that beat me with a later date

Haha I hope it's a glitch. I doubt it though. From what i've been seeing from other people you can randomly get a VIN out of nowhere. So one can hope lol
Folks, just wanted to put it out there. If anyone in the NY area cannot or chooses not to take delivery of their Y - (you don't have to), but I'd appreciate a PM. We would gladly take it either directly from tesla if you decline or from you, concurrent with your own delivery. Our X order is in an inevitable bad place, and Tesla has yet to make a single X in 2021. We are in a proverbial bind.
True, but it makes it really difficult when you sell a car based on original estimated delivery date. We lose our loaner in 6 days, and my wife goes back to work two weeks after that. At that point we would have to cancel and find a used car. Next time we upgrade a car I think we just find a used Tesla.
