Model Y Factory Shutdown for Upgrades

Well, Tesla.com says 5-9 weeks for delivery of a new Model Y now.

Either they got a big influx of orders from the price drop or they are making some adjustments that temporarily slow down production.

4-8 weeks now is back. Wonder if they have some "non-production" version of web site exposed (with Model Y RWD listed)

My July 24 order (LR/blue/white/19") said 5-8 weeks and it changed to August 4 on July 30. Taking delivery on 8/8 since it's the weekend.

I’m close to canceling my order. I have to have a comfortable soft ride and I can’t get that with the Y. I’ll probably need to move up to a X or S unfortunately. I wish Tesla would upgrade the suspension in the Y.

Whatever you get be sure to get the smallest wheels.

I'm sure for less than the extra $50k the model X or S cost, you could have softer suspension installed in the Y
