Hi,

I'm about to buy model y, bay area, Total cost around 54k (no options, no EAD, no FSD etc), down payment 5k. Which CU has the best rate? Tesla current rate is about 5.49%. Does anyone know how much monthly payment change for rate 3.9 vs 4.5% for example.

I couldn't find recent financing topics.

Check out Star One Credit Union. They are in San Jose / South Bay. I think 4.6%

Add another 7-8k or so to that price including taxes and fees!

If you can join Stanford Federal Credit Union they make buying Tesla’s a breeze. Once you get approved they send an email to Tesla saying you’re approved and that’s all you need to pick up your car. They only pay Tesla after you accept delivery. No worrying about getting a check cut before picking up your car.
