I have tried all the tricks (tap advanced multiple times, switch from standard to advanced, hold advanced, and a few others), but it seems that maybe these work if your VIN was already queued for install.
May have worked at one time but not any longer. It appeared Tesla addressed this last year when it was initially reported.
Well I guess I am not alone with 2020.36.4.5 or older software. It seems that patience is required since update timing is dependant on Tesla.I have seen many newer firmware updates mentioned on TeslaFi and other sites, but have been stuck at 2020.36.4.5 for now.
Can you say more on the charging rate problem. I think I may have the same things going on. Mine will start charging at 48 amps, but often drops to 24, and occasionally 12.I'm waiting for the fix to the reduced charging rate problems. I have a service appointment on the 16th to get my windshield replaced so I'll see if I also end up with a firmware update as well.
