Unless the the glass roof is a perfect 3D rectangular solid... it maybe hard to have a common frame of reference on measuring and using dimensions (e.g. how to account for any curved surfaces near the edge).

Also, depending upon your purpose... does exact mean within 1 mm, or a tenth of an inch (2.54 mm), or a quarter inch (~6mm) or something else?
