Your VIN is PF589XXX, right @dragoon9988? I don't understand, you seem to have a higher number VIN than mine (PF5886XX), yet I was told mine was built on Oct 29, 2022. Does anybody know how they allocate VINs?, they certainly don't seem to follow a regular orderly sequence.

I can't wait to see ours in person.

How does one know if the vehicle has comfort suspension?

Supposedly if the build date is after Oct 7th (from the Model Y Comfort Suspension thread) then you have it

Ah actually, this post Tesla adds Model Y 'Comfort Suspension' at Fremont and Giga Texas, including to the Performance variant indicates the dates it was implemented at the different factories

Tesla Customer Service has limited visibility into car features:

• Build Date 11/1/22.
• Model Year: 2023.
• Austin build.
• Probably has cargo shelf, comfort suspension because these have been standard in Austin for a while.
• Not sure about new door panels or matrix headlights.

How do you know if you have new cameras or not? are they the 5mp cameras?

From what's been reported, they are just newer versions of existing cameras just different housings. The 5 MP cameras aren't out yet.

Took delivery of my MYLR and the ride is very comfortable with the 20s. Similar to my old BMW, well damping is great and handles well on the roads of Toronto.

2023 Austin build MYLR.
I called Tesla and the advisor looked up my build.
No USS.
I do have the cargo cover.
The advisor said there are no new cameras.
Matrix headlights are MYP only.
I don’t want USS because I prefer to not have all the polka dots. But yes…I know the fix is uncertain and understand why people would want them. Only time will tell…

I had the Service Advisor tell me the Build Date and he also confirmed it was with Comfort Suspension as it was over two weeks past the start of that change from the Freemont factory.

I just ordered a MYP on Friday night (Oct. 28th) and by the next morning the app gave me a EDD of between Dec. 2 - 30. To my surprise (and I do mean surprise), I was just given a VIN and a new EDD between Nov. 8 - 14...essentially next week. My VIN is PF590xxx. Other than this, I only know the basic options I selected when ordering on the website. Does anyone have any guesses as to what the other details might be for my MYP (such as Build Date, USS, Matrix, and Cargo Cover)? Maybe tomorrow I can call someone at the delivery center. BTW, I am located in the Philadelphia area.

My vin is similar for my MYP I’m delivering on 11/8 (view my sig below). From what my sales specialist stated, I’ll be getting the USS’s, new cameras, parcel shelf, and comfort suspension. If this holds true, I’d assume you be in a similar vehicle seeing the VIN.

I asked our SA yesterday if they could share details about the car based on the VIN, this is what I got:

Hi XXXXX, we are constantly in pursuit of continuous improvement, so we make regular updates to our vehicles. Unlike other auto-manufacturers, we do not wait for a model-year cycle to introduce new items or make changes to our product, but rather we frequently introduce updated features on a rolling basis. We will have to wait to confirm the exact configuration of your vehicle until closer to delivery day.

Would you be willing to share the next number on your VIN (after "PF588") just want to see if it's more likely that we get a configuration like yours. I think I saw somewhere (maybe this thread) a PF587 with no cargo cover, so I'm just curious. I did get the notice regarding no USS when I got the VIN assigned last week, but I'm aware it could still go either way.

I had to refuse our first VIN because we could not get money released on time (back on October 16), order was on hold until October 23rd, got this VIN assigned around October 26th.

Original order date was February 6th, I think, although we revised the order to add tow on April 18th, 2022.

I promise to report back on Sunday how delivery went (with pictures).
