How and where to carry a spare tire for the Model Y?

- Is the frunk larger enough (for a deflated tire), not like on the Model 3 in this picture

- Is the second rear sub-trunk is large enough, like with the Model X on this picture?

- is the rear sub-trunk deep enough and don't obstruct the access, like for the Model 3 on this picture? ?

- When removing the carpet, does the middle beam allow to insert a spare horizontally like with the Model 3 on this picture??

- Or does the only possibility is to keep it directly inside the trunk, like for the Model 3 on this picture??

There are many threads dealing with getting a spare tire, just in case when out of town during a trip
to literally avoid to ruin your day in middle of nowhere in winter with kids in the car.

Basically your car needs to get tow on a flat bed to a tire shop but replacement tires for Tesla are not common
and often need to be ordered. Tesla Service center don't always have replacement tire available, and are not open on weekend.

If you are visiting for example the Yosemite park in California, the closest Tesla Service Center is in Fresno,
so a truck will take at least 3 to 4 hours of driving up the Sierra Nevada to reach you and the same on the way back.

Note: For road assistance, flat tires and battery jump start are not a major priority compare to major accidents where cars might block the traffic.
So you might have to wait for a long time especially at night or on peak periods like national holidays.
