So, we just got the 2020.16.3 update about 20 minutes ago, and the confusing this is that the release notes seem like they are from the previous version (Tesla Toybox, Backgammon, etc.). Does anyone know what's in this new release?

If you’re new to these cars this sort of update isn’t terribly uncommon.

The release notes are rarely verbose and some of the updates are bug fixes and/or autopilot improvements. Some of the biggest jumps in core autopilot functionality have been lumped in with “bug fixes and improvements.”

The version numbers are: YEAR.WEEK.x - where year and week are the year and week that feature set was "frozen" for release.

the "third decimal" changes are almost always the exact same release notes. So for example.. All releases in the 2020.16.x series will have the same release notes.

the "WEEK" is usually where you will see new features listed in the release notes. Recent pattern is they seem to release a feature update about every 4 weeks, but not always. So far this year, I have received 2012.4.x, .8.x, .12.x, .16.x, and it looks like .20 has started limited release.
