This happened to me a month ago on a road trip. The service center found that the temp sensors in the octovalve where hooked up in the wrong order. Car was cooling fine, but it thought that the outlet temperature was higher than the inlet.

I had the car for about 4 hours when I parked it in my garage to update the firmware and charge the car. 30 minutes into the charge, coolant was all over the floor of my garage. Car was making very loud humming noise all night. I called roadside assistance that evening but they couldn't send a tow truck until the morning. After the car arrived at the service center, they told me the car had a loose coolant hose. They were able to fix the hose problem, flush out any air in the hose, and refill the coolant in the same day. I opted for them to keep the car for another day so they could fix the minor delivery day pickup issues.
