Imo the price is what it was before 3k drop in AWD. 1900 differenece between AWD and RWD do not make much sense. Based on M3 price, I'd say it's 4-5k difference (M3 SR+ RWD is 9K cheaper than LR AWD - 4k for battery, 5k for motor)
I'd expect it 45-46k, either price difference not so good. Does 4 wheels upgrade (Induction) cost same as a motor? Hardly...

Update: Tesla has removed the option to select the Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive after we posted this article.

It’s surprising since Musk hinted that the price would be closer to $45,000 and it’s only $2,000 cheaper than the Model Y Long Range Dual Motor.
