Model Y - NorCal to SoCal or Vice Versa

Hi All,

Looking for any LR DM Model Y owners who have 20" Induction wheels who have made the trip from anywhere in the Bay Area down to the Orange County/San Diego area. Are you able to make it all the way down with just one stop for charging?

I've done that once, but didn't even bother trying to make it in one stop .. why is that important, there are plenty of SCs on the route down?

The reason to make two stops is doing it in one stop means charging for 1/2 an hour, while doing it in two you charge for 5 minutes each. The bottom half of the battery charges VERY quick. And most of the I-5 chargers are right off the freeway.

I use Santa Nella and Button Willow as those were the same exits I used in my ICE days, but Firebaugh and Kettleman City have LOTS of V3 chargers if you can make it to them.

I made that trip in my LR AWD Model 3. Stopped twice, first at Kettleman City, then somewhere in LA. I don’t think you can do it with one stop.
