took delivery 2 days ago from tesla tampa. was basically advised that my car was ready in spot 27. off I went alone as they said just let us know if you need anything. As I did my look over nothing really stood out besides some new interior plastic etc…it was starting to rain and it was rush hour so off I went. got home today and while the sun was hitting the rear end I noticed the rear plastic is an eggshell white, not white like the metal part of the car. the front bumper area is basically the same. been trying to contact tesla tampa or corp. for that matter to no avail.

I had an Audi A4 that was dolphin gray and had the same issue. This is called paint flop Which affects how the paint looks at different viewing angles.

The paint color itself is probably the same but it might not have been applied properly or had the correct base coat applied.

To me the rear one is bad, the other 2 not as noticeable. I would definitely log ticket with Tesla. I just picked up MYP in NJ yesterday and the color matches, so yours rear one is definitely not normal.

I can see the mismatch on yours as well. Not as pronounced, but definitely there on the front and rear.

This problem is endemic to white cars in general, but it is especially bad on Tesla's for whatever reason.

My 2013 Ford C-Max had a similar paint mismatch "feature", specifically the plastic front and rear covers were faintly yellowish. It didn't seem to worsen over time thankfully but it always bothered me a bit.
