I added a rear badge Showing it as a Model Y. I understand many people don’t like badges and chrome delete, so this won’t appeal to everyone. I am happy with my Tesla and the general population has no idea what model they are looking at.

I bought the Model Y badge in black to match the door handles, but think it might look better in chrome to match the existing Dual Motor badge. Any suggestions on which color to choose before I install it?Abstractocean. They have chrome and black $19.99

You can get the dual model badge in black also. I just did that, plus new plate holder for the back in black.I bought the Model Y badge in black to match the door handles, but think it might look better in chrome to match the existing Dual Motor badge. Or just plastidip the dual motor and tesla logo black.
Mask off surroundings and spray directly on the car. After 4 to 5 coats peel it off. The dip magically breaks at the badge and emblem outlines. Plenty of videos on YouTube. One thing to make it slightly easier is to wad up small pieces of tape and put them in the middle of the Os and D etc. that makes it easier to grab hold of the dried dip in those spots. Otherwise you need to scratch and rough it up before you can grab a small bit to peel. Unfortunately it seems impossible to remove the dip from the middle of R and A so I had to live with that.Do you remove the badge and dip it or spray? And if you remove it and dip it what do you use to reapply it. Thanks for the info!
nice, dip the chrome frame too while you're at it.I decided to black out with plastidip all the rear badges including the new Model Y one.
