I'm interested in selling my tesla model Y reservation. Tesla needs me to claim it by Dec 2nd by giving them the delivery location.

Tesla is currently pushing deliveries so they got the vehicles off their lot as most of the buyers are delaying for the tax credits. You can call CS and request that they hold your reservation, pushing you into Jan 2022. That way you become eligible for $7500 tax credit. You can click I'm Ready in Jan and it may take a few weeks for another VIN assignment.

I had my MYLR delivery scheduled for 12/3 and did the same. I was told by CS that you can push out the delivery twice, 30 days each. If I do not take delivery after the second push, my R# gets cancelled and I'd have to place a fresh order.
