Standard Range Model Y has disappeared from the order page, and in the US anyway the price has come down $1k, further increasing the premium paid in Canada... what gives? https://twitter.com/sawyermerritt/status/1363385037740249089?s=21
$70k MY is the minimum again. Let’s hope that the MY SR holds its value well long term. And we continue to be included in future “increased speed/range” software updates.
You can buy a SR 7 seater and flip it for some money if you don't like it. M sure there will be tons of people who want it
Sales must be good. no reason to lower prices. There is no premium in Canada, it is just the price here.
Probably the yields of car that past their super low bar QA is so low that the cost is too high per unit, thus selling at under $40K US would not make enough money.
The battery chemistry from Made in China MY is different from North America, right? Does anyone know the impact of this difference. Are they better or worse in the cold? Acceleration? Charging?
There is some YouTube comparisons, worse in the cold but less degradation, if you park in a garage and can charge at home you'll be fine.
Have any actually been delivered? I though I read that the 7-seaters were going to be delivered the end of the quarter. If the 7-seat SRs have not been delivered yet, I have to wonder if they ever will.
I got my vin today. Already got the draft made for final payment .called SC car will be here 9th March and within few days delivery .
Looks like all the SR's are getting different batteries (LFP). That may be why it was taken off the website. I suspect once Tesla has the battery supplies needed, it may be back.
Huge array of SRs seem to be suddenly available in existing inventory. I imagine a number of them will end up significantly discounted!
