Air bag system improvements? That's kind of concerning for those of us who doesn't have this update yet. I would have liked the air bag system to be perfect right off the assembly line.

Yes, you need to hold down on the brake peddle too at the same time as the steering wheel buttons.

You have any official documentation on that because I have not noticed a difference between holding down the two buttons for 8 seconds vs holding them and the brake down for 20.

I did another reset holding in both scroll buttons with my foot on the brake the entire time - screen and music eventually go off then I counted to about 90 seconds until I saw the Tesla logo appear on the black screen!

From another thread, there is the two button reset method, and a way to turn things off from the service menu on the control screen...just an FYI, I have not tried the button yet.

UGH. It happened again (*as other users of 21.36 have reported.) The 2 button+brake reset worked again, but clearly there is a larger issue with 21.36.

This right here. I was talking with one of the head techs at the local service center. If I remember correctly he said it used to be something different on the S a long time ago but it's never been anything special on 3/Y and no longer does anything different on any of the cars.

Nothing is ever perfect. Everything has room for improvements.
In Tesla's case, they are making safety improvements in response to insight from real data from real-world crashes.
