Model Y Standard Range Spec?

Hi Everyone,

Sorry if this has already been asked, but I've googled and searched the Tesla site and I'm struggling to find an answer.

Does anyone know the actual differences (other than range and AWD) between the SR and LR on the model Y? I know the differences between the model 3

Fog Lights
Premium Sound (subwoofer)
Interior Lights

is the Model Y the same?

also, what type of battery is it? are they using the LFP? one of the things which drew me towards the SR M3 was the LFP and better overall efficiency.

You don’t get the fog lights. Everything else is as the LR I believe.

almost certainly LFP battery. Probably the same CATL one from the M3 but could be a newer BYD made one. Until they arrive we cannot be 100% sure.

From the website, you can also get to see the specs, go to the "Custom order" tab, pick your model, and go down to interior and "feature details" then use the arrow buttons to the sides of the pictures (not always obvious). Anyway.. the differences

I'd assume it has it but as Tesla don't list it as a feature there is no way to confirm until the first ones arrive. You could ask someone at Tesla but I doubt they actually know and are likely just to guess.

even less obvious are the specs under feature details below the price, click on that button then collapse the Range and Performance section by clicking on the down arrow to reveal the interior and safety features.
