Why don't you just buy the Gemini wheels from Tesla for $3,500 if you really want them?

Checked with Tesla, I cannot switch now, if I do the switch , it will be considered as a new order and I will have to get back in line with new price.

I'm in the same boat as OP. Wanting to change my order from Inductions to Gemini. But I know changing the order will result in 1) adjustment in price to today's price for the car 2) resetting the date for the car - may have to wait another year again.

In Socal if anyone is interested in upgrading to the Inductions. Will be brand new when I get them in mid-Sept.

your pricing shouldn’t be changed to the new pricing, unless that was the policy beforehand. I switched to the MYLR from the MYP after a price increase, but stayed within my previous price bracket.
