I have a blue model y long range with a delivery date in April. I now would like a red one instead. Anyone want to trade for a new red one coming? I’m willing to give a 1k more for paint color difference

Delivery date April meaning today? May is in a day. Might be simpler to just request the change as you don’t have vin.

It’s end of April to may so within a month. I called Tesla and they said my DD will restart in the que and maybe be 4-5 months later

I'm biased but would wait for red. It's beautiful. Blue looks nice but it's somewhat pedestrian IMO.

You can just call your SA and ask them to change the color without any price changes except for red up charge

Only problem with this is the blue as the under color.....most wraps are going to look weird as soon as you open the door and see the blue paint on the inside of the door/interior. If you are planning on wraps, you want black as undercolor.

Not necessarily get black as your under color if you get the wrap done by this guy

Transferring or selling an order is not allowed by Tesla. If you do so they will likely cancel your order. Ultimately you changed your mind after placing your order so the cost of doing so is either paying for a paint job, paying for a wrap or waiting the extra time.

If you really want the red I'd just bite the bullet and wait an extra couple of months.

I have the blue with white interior, and love it! The red looks fantastic, but I really think you're not giving up much if anything sticking with the Blue.

However, if your set on Red, as others have said, bite the bullet, and wait an extra few months. If you're going to keep the car for years, a few months more or less won't matter.
