How long should it take for tyre pressures to show on the screen?

Usually I see this anywhere from 10 seconds to a minute after you have started driving.

It doesn't work when stationary. The sensors only wake up during movement and sleep when stationary.

You have to drive for a mile or so for them to show up. They dont show when parked

I simply reverse down and up my driveway, about 4 cars length total, to check what the car thinks after I've topped up the tyres. That wakes them for me, but takes a bit longer for the display to update. I've never needed anywhere near a mile.

Mine are the Bluetooth ones, same as fitted to the MY.

Okay that explains it. I didn’t know they were there and when I checked I saw that, but I was stationary. This is after driving a while.
