Had pick up confirmed last night for Feb 24th Newcastle Orion Business Park. Very happy with that as it ties in with family event and holiday in Scotland and I’m not bothered about the 22 plate. Blue black Gemini. Ordered within a few minutes of receiving the email 15th Oct.

Yes. It was the text I got my reg number in that said they would register with DVLA on the day.

So now that you have the VIN what happens next?

I wasn't very sure but they since sent a text asking me to pick a collection date. I picked the 1st of March in the cntre of Glasgow.

Have a MYLR Red/Black/induction ordered via a leasing company salary sacrifice - received a text saying vehicle is on the way on Tuesday, subsequently called the leasing co. who said no update. Spoke to Tesla today who say pickup is organised for 1 March and Vin assigned.

After speaking to CS this week and being told the 2nd week of March, I get a text last night to arrange collection from 24th Feb-4th March. I've gone for the 2nd of March, but can't get through to CS this morning to confirm this will be a 22 plate. Anyone else had confirmation that the cars are not pre registered?

When I spoke to them they said no plate assigned for the 1 March delivery and didn’t know whether would be ‘22 or not.

I'm sure I've read that once you have a VIN you can see where it is, or what boat it is on? Anyone know the latest on how to do that? Did some searching but mostly came up with USA trackers for USA built cars!

Oooft - I don't know seems to be a common answer from CS in my experience. I've had conflicting answers on parcelshelf and new Ryzen chip being on my car.

If you are collecting from 1st of March it will be a 22 plate.

It appears that red/black with inductions is not a common product on the shipment so far.

My order is through lease co. Had VIN assigned Wednesday but no registration text (pick-up Southampton 19th Feb). Called this morning and they sent through text with Reg. 15 days and counting!
