Sorry to hear that. End-of-quarter, I've had my car arrive on a transporter only 30 minutes before I did!

Yup, was meant to trade in my model 3, but I am going to take it home and hope they can sort this out. Next time I just wish they would of rang!

Well at least that's something to be glad about, a lot of people have already gotten rid of their old car when they go to pick the new one up.

Could be worthwhile complaining, you could get some credit to spend on the Tesla shop.

Forgot to mention, they saw the damage on Saturday. It’s only a dent in the boot, nothing major

Oh that is poor then, I would definitely kick off, lay it on thick saying you lost a day’s pay having the day off work, and the huge disappointment etc. [email protected] is probably best email to use.

I would make sure they don't try to fob you off with a repair on the damaged car. At least you should be able to continue racking up mileage on your M3 without depreciation.

Tesla delivery team have just emailed me to ask for an updated finance settlement letter, so I have emailed Tesla Finance (no idea why the delivery team can't request this from them directly!) to ask for a new letter, but last time I did this it took them 4 days to reply, which would now be too late for my collection on Thursday! There is no way to speak to the finance team on the phone.

Also, they have updated my account to ask me for the downpayment, which has actually been reduced by the £6k in equity that I have in the M3, so that is good. What I'm not sure about is what will happen to my direct debit which is set to come out on the 1st April, will that still be taken, even though I won't owe anything on the M3 anymore!?

I would make sure they don't try to fob you off with a repair on the damaged car. At least you should be able to continue racking up mileage on your M3 without depreciation.

As it is only a dent on the boot, if they can repair it and I cant see it I will be happy with that.

I had the same thing, they were really quick at responding to me luckily. I also asked the question about my payment after the finance is cleared, response from them below;

"That is up to you, the previous agreement will be settled before then & a new one setup for your new vehicle. "

No, as the response was a bit wishy washy really. Quite lucky now, as I don't have a new car lol. They said I should get the new one by month end mind.

Ha, supposedly yes, it went to the bodyshop to have the dented boot fixed Saturday, or maybe today, they were not too sure........
