Collected my MY LR 19" Red from Bluewater on 8 March and now have a slow puncture in rear nearside tyre. I noticed that the pressures were 52 all round so ride quite firm. My local tyre centre did not want to try to repair the punctured tyre because it's an acoustic EV tyre with the foam padding inside so have found the exact match for a new Hankook Ventus tyre from Kwik Fit who will fit at home in a few days. £306 all in. Going to keep the old tyre and take it to a specialist tyre repairer to get it repaired and then will have a spare just in case this happens again. I previously used Blackcircles.com for my Model X tyres and they were pretty good but I could not find the correct Hankook tyre for the Model Y on their website.

Wow that’s a lot of money for a 19” tyre! I would honestly just get it repaired by a place that understands how easy it is to just peel a section of the acoustic foam back, or repair it yourself with a plug like I recently did on my M3.

Out with the old, in with the new. Traded the M3 for the MY today. Looks pretty good, although maybe fine scratches are just more difficult to spot on the white. Had to lower the PSI all round, as was about 50psi when collected. I have a couple of air bubbles in the PPF - do you think it is worth reporting this, seems trivial??

Only driven it once so far, and slowly at that, as collected with 25% and the SatNav predicted I would get home with 3%. No ability to top up the charge at Southampton collection. Probably took it too easy driving home, by following lorries, got there with about 10% 😇

The '22MY seems quieter than my '19M3 and the ride seems similar so far - not uncomfortable but you can detect the road surface (19" M3 vs 20" MY).

Currently charging at home, have tweaked all the settings, going out later for a little drive. :)

As it is only a dent on the boot, if they can repair it and I cant see it I will be happy with that.

Commisserations! How disappointing. Well done you for your calm approach. As my delivery wait shortens, I will need to ask the doctor for something to prevent apoplexy! Actually not; I will have been "immunised" by the accounts I read here and have suitably understated expectations and then be enveloped in a cloud of ecstatic rapture on discovering that all is 100% fault free. Did I hear someone say "Good luck with that".

They were apologetic, and me getting irate/shouty won’t change anything, just glad I could take my trade in back home. I was hoping to hear of them at some point today, but doubt I will now, maybe tomorrow!
Sent the delivery email address a complaint and my Starbucks & Supercharging invoice, ill wait and see what they come back with :)

Oh crikey, I don’t think anyone would suggest that you should get irate or shouty, definitely not the way to deal with any situation such as this!

Nor is going up to the person and slapping them in the face, despite recent events! 🤣
